Our balloon port is in San Martín de las Pirámides, next to the Teotihuacán archaeological site and about 50 km north-east of central Mexico City.
By car, allow 1 to 1.5 hours from the Historic Center, Roma, Condesa or Polanco. Flights take off around sunrise, so you travel before dawn, when traffic is usually lighter. The drive back later in the morning can take longer.

By car
Drive to Carretera México, San Martín de las Pirámides. Use the map below for directions. Leave early enough to arrive before sunrise.
By bus
Buses to the pyramids leave from the Terminal Autobuses del Norte, but the first departures usually arrive too late for a sunrise flight. The bus works best if you stay near Teotihuacán the night before.
By taxi or ride-hailing app
A ride from the city works for getting here. Arrange your return in advance: cars can be hard to find around San Martín de las Pirámides early in the day.

Yes. The flight takes off around sunrise, so you are back on the ground in the morning with the rest of the day free. When you book, you can add an entrance ticket to the Teotihuacán archaeological site, or a guided tour with the entrance included.
